CHARACTER DESIGN 

The main character of my animation is a child named Aiden. The design of my character is using the data analysis of my previous research from the kindergarten of children's drawing.

STORYLINE
The storyline of my animation.

Aiden the only child in the family, parents are always busy and had no time to play with him. He always wishes he had things to play with. One day, during dinner time his parents gave him a present and it is a tablet. Aiden is very happy and got addicted to it very soon. Aiden no longer had connections with the outside world anymore and always sticks to his tablet all day long making his parents regretting the decision to buy him the tablet. Aiden got back from school one day and start playing with his tablet on his living room couch and fell asleep due to too tired. Aiden had a dream. In the dream, he had lost his tablet and is nowhere to be found. He started searching everywhere from the living room to his own bedroom. Aiden started crying and feel very sad. Suddenly a boy about his age appears and Aiden asks if he sees his tablet? The kid shakes his head and reply “NO” Aiden cries more. The boy the smiled and pulled Aiden’s hand leading him somewhere. They both walked out of his house and there is a huge playground full of children laughter. Aiden then start to play with the boy and had lots of fun. Suddenly, Aiden was awaken by a familiar voice. He wakes up from his dream and saw his parents. He then realizes that was a dream and his tablet is still in his hands. He also realizes that he can also have fun without playing his tablet and return back the tablet to his parents and only request them to give him play 2hours a day. Aiden also requested to his parents to have them bring him to the playground to play every weekend and they agrees to it. Aiden is very happy. 


SCRIPT
The script of my animation.

Scene 1:
int. Living room - Day

Aiden sitting in the living room starring into empty space. His parents cameback and he is very happy but then he is left alone again because his parents are too busy.

Scene 2:
int. Dining Table- Night

Aiden and his parents are having dinner. Parents gave him a present. Aiden opened and found a Tablet inside. Aiden is very happy and thank his parents.

Scene 3:
int. Aiden's Room -Day

Aiden plays his tablet and is having lots of fun. He wants to be with it everyday and all day. Ge got addicted.

Scene 4:
int. Aiden's Room -Night

Aiden's parent return home and found him in the room playing his tablet. He refuses to stop and cried. His parents regretted buying him the device.

Scene 5:
int. Living room - Day

Aiden return home from school and starts playing his tablet without bathing nor having lunch. He plays on the living room couch and fell asleep.

Scene 6:
int. Living Room- Day

Aiden wakes up and founds his tablet missing. He got nervous and find everywhere but the tablet is nowhere to be found.

Scene 7:
int. Aiden's Room- Day

Aiden went to his room to find the tablet and still cant find it. He then got scared and sad and started crying.

Scene 8:
int/ext. White space

A boy about Aiden's age appears and approach him. Aiden asked is he saw the tablet and he answered "NO". Aiden cried badly.

Scene 9:
int. living room- Day

The boy held Aiden's hand and lead him outside of the house, Aiden follow him and walked out og the house.

Scene 10:
ext. playground -Day

Aiden was shocked to see a playground infront of his house. The boy then lead Aiden and ask him to try and play at the playground.

Scene 11:
ext. playground -Day

Aiden played and had lots of fun at the playground. He then realizes that other than the tablet, there are other fun things for him to play.

Scene 12:
int. living room- Day

Suddenly, Aiden heard a familiar voice and wakes up from his dream. He told his parents about what happened and request to be brought to the playground. His parents agreed and he is very happy.
